I well remember listening on Sunday evenings in the late 60's - early 70's to 'Pick Of The Pops' with "Fluff", primarily because my older brother had bought himself a fabulous Philips N4307 reel-to-reel tape recorder which he used to record the latest chart hits on.

One programme I recorded way back when I was at the tender age of 16 was a Christmas special presented by Alan, of course it was recorded when Radio 1 was transmitted on Medium Wave - hardly Hi Fi but it was recorded on my very own cassette recorder, the Philips EL 3302.
